Johan Österling retired from the Foyen Law Firm at the age of 65 and now continues his legal practice as Advokat Johan Österling. The firm's activities are limited to business law, with a particular focus on company law. The firm is active within the fields of mining, real estate, trading and industrial manufacturing.

As a practising lawyer, Johan Österling has been assisting Swedish businesses for more than three decades. Johan has been a member of the Swedish Bar Association since 1982. He serves as a director of several Swedish and international corporations, both listed and unlisted, in Sweden and abroad.
